Under 11 Girls Nigel Shields Cup

(i) Players may go anywhere on the pitch and score from anywhere.

(ii) The goalkeeper may come out of the penalty box but they may not handle the ball outside of the box.

(iii) The goalkeeper may kick the ball out of their hands, goal kick, drop kick,  bounce and kick or throw over halfway without punishment.

(iv) If the defending team are taking a goal kick the opposition must retreat to the halfway line immediately. Once the kick has been taken they can compete for the ball.

(v) There are no offsides

(vi) Normal throw ins,  corners and goal kicks.

(vii) At free kicks the defending team must retreat 5 metres.

(viii) Shin pads must be worn at all times.

(ix) Suitable footwear must be worn at all times e.g training shoes or moulded studs on 3G pitches.

Note Rule 11 - matches must be completed at the first meeting of the teams (no replays). 5 minutes of extra time and then penalties are used to determine a winner in the case of a draw.

Matches should be 25 minutes each way. 
However teams can play 20 minutes each way if both agree.
